Adulthood arrives fast, and it expects a whole set of skills nobody ever formally teaches: how to actually get things done instead of doom-scrolling, how to make a hard call and live with it, how to ask for what you need without it being weird, how to stay steady when everything's due at once.
Launch is built on the same coaching approach used with adults: forward-looking, built around goals and growth, not diagnosis or looking backward. You'll learn how your own brain and body actually work, including neurotransmitters, the autonomic nervous system, and why you react the way you do, paired with somatic and mindfulness tools, real problem-solving, and working through actual decisions and their consequences.
This comes out of decades of watching both ends of it: years teaching young people directly, and years as a somatic life coach helping adults untangle conditioned tendencies they built at exactly this age, long before they had any reason to question them. Launch exists to close that gap earlier, with more mindfulness and fewer habits you'll spend years trying to unlearn later.
Launch is a six-week group for older teens, sophomore year and up. Through real projects and honest reflection, not worksheets, you'll practice setting a goal and reaching it, handling frustration, and knowing yourself well enough to advocate for what you need. No parents in the room. This age gets their own space, just you and a few others figuring out the same things, building the groundwork for whatever comes next: college, work, real independence.
LAUNCH! Six weekly one-hour sessions. $120 per teen. First cohort starts Tuesday, Sept 15th @ 6pm
